What is Cold mix asphalt

Cold in-place recycling
Asphalt concrete

Asphalt mixtures are classified into three types based on different mixing temperatures: hot mix, warm mix, and cold mix. Among them, cold mix is typically mixed at temperatures ranging from 16°C to 35°C. By utilizing 100% reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP), we achieve the benefits of sustainable resource reuse and energy-saving carbon reduction.

  • Sustainable Recycling Method

  • New Materials, New Technologies

  • Towards a Green Future

Sustainable Resource Utilization

Taiwan generates a significant amount of asphalt milling waste each year. While 40% of it can be recycled, the remaining 60% is often disposed of in landfills, posing environmental concerns. "Cold Mix Recycled Asphalt Concrete" allows for the 100% utilization of recycled asphalt.

Reduced Construction Time

Compared to traditional techniques, it significantly shortens the construction period, leading to earlier road openings.

High Strength and Resilience

It can be used as a material for road base improvement or backfilling in road pipeline excavations, providing twice the strength of traditional granular base layers and enhancing road load-bearing capacity.

A Global Trend

Cold mix asphalt has already been widely adopted in Europe and America, increasing the recycling rate of milling waste and addressing disposal issues, thus achieving economic and environmental benefits.
